West Madison Senior Coalition
The Coalition evolved twenty-seven years ago from the efforts of individuals and groups
in Madison, Wisconsin that shared a common concern for enhancing the ability of older people to
retain independent lives.
Our mission is to assist older adults with services and programs that enhance independence and enrich lives. Organization has been serving seniors on the west side of Madison since 1975.
The Coalition provides case management services that help you to find and connect to resources for living independently in the community and home chore services for seniors so they can live better, longer lives as well as remain independent.
Our Coalition Office is located at 517 N. Segoe Road, Suite 309 Madison, WI 53705.

West Madison Senior Center

In Honor of the Memorial Day Holiday
The West Madison Senior Coalition, Senior Center and Nutrition Sites will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2013. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 28th at 8:00 AM.
World's Largest Brat Fest - Volunteers Needed
Brat Fest is right around the corner, May 24th -27th, and as an original agency partner,
the West Madison Senior Coalition is once again participating in the Memorial Day Brat Fest sponsored by Metcalf's Market.
We encourage you to consider volunteering and to invite your family and friends to join you. Volunteering at Brat Fest is fun! Your support of this event helps us assist older adults with programs and services that enhance independence and enrich lives. To register for a volunteer shift, contact Candice at (608) 238-7368.
Other Volunteer Opportunities:
The West Madison Senior Center Nutrition Program is looking for some volunteers to help with our noon meal on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Volunteers are needed to set tables, greet seniors, serve lunch, clear tables and wash dishes. The time commitment is 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM. If you wish to volunteer, please contact Mary at 238-7368.

Take a Senior to Lunch - Gift Certificates Available
Gift Certificates can be purchased at the West Madison Senior Coalition for senior adult diners for a cost of $3 for those age 60 or older or $6.15 for those diners under the age of 60. You may redeem these certificates at the West Madison Senior Center or the Lussier Community Education Center Meal Sites. Call 238-7368 for more information.
Lost and Found
The Senior Center will have a new Lost and Found box. Items that are left at the center will be kept here for 2 weeks. If they are not claimed after this time they will be disposed of or donated to a charitable organization. If you have lost something please contact Kari at 238-0196 or stop by during regular office hours.
