Volunteer Opportunities:

Probably the most important aspect of volunteering with the Coalition is the chance to work together with friends to make a program or event successful. Volunteers are always needed to keep things running smoothly.

Office Volunteers Needed
We are in need of volunteers to answer phones for the Coalition office on Fridays. If you would like to learn how to use a multi-line phone system and would enjoy greeting visitors please call 238-7368.

Food Pantry Driver and/ or Delivery Volunteer
Great for a couple or team of two. This is a NEW volunteer opportunity.
A "Community Car" will be used to deliver food pantry groceries to homebound
senior citizens on the west side of Madison 1 - 2 times per month.

Must be willing to commit to 4 months; have a valid Wisconsin driver license; must be 21 years or older; willing to complete an one-hour Community Car orientation; willing to have a background and DMV check.

If interested call Diane at 238-7368.

Home Chore Volunteers
Snow Shoveling

If you are looking for an outdoor exercise, we are looking for you! Volunteers needed to help shovel snow for our clients. Flexible hours: Needed when it snows or when there is ice to remove.

In Home Upkeep
Home Chore volunteers are needed to help our clients with ongoing cleaning. If you are willing and able to vacuum, dust, sweep, mop floors and do laundry, we can use your help.

Call Diane at 238-7368 if interested in volunteering for one of these tasks.

“I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the community, and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.”
